ReplyDeleteMake sure you've got something in the tank for this one and make it count so that your body can mechanize as you are resting and feeding your face on Turkey Day.
i am a little bit embarrassed but i don't feel like i dogged it. I did runs on treadmills and regular pull-ups instead of jumping pull-ups and my time was are you ready for this 1 hour and 2 min and 13 seconds. happy thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteI just ate half of a pumpkin pie by MYSELF. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteI thought about your comment of being "a little bit embarrassed" about your time as I was wanting to bonk and thinking "how'd he finish in just over an hour?" Well, this wod was a beauty. My hat is off to anyone who would begin this wod with the genuine intent to complete it and my extra make-believe hat is off to those who complete it. I feel it is a worthy tribute to an awesome holiday. I did my runs on a treadmill and completed in 1:01:34. I laid down after and cried and then fell into a coma. What a beautiful thing intensity is!
ReplyDeleteThe important question our mocking impostor visitor Kristi failed to answer is how long it took her to eat half a pumpkin pie. Details, details, details!
ReplyDeleteAll in good fun, Kristi. We love you and we're glad to have you in our fan club.
