thrustin 2 for 1 modified

wod:
tabata treadmill run 8 rounds 20 sec on 10 sec off

rest 2 min

3 rounds for time:
115 lb thruster 10 reps
20 wall ball shots (12 lb med ball, all i got for now)
20 air squats
30 sit-ups

rest 2 min

tabata treadmill run repeat

"Bring it home" for time 5 rounds of:
75 lb thruster 10 reps
10 leg raises

  1. i did not do wednesday "thrustin 2 for 1" but took a needed rest day instead and put up christmas lights but not to be turned on until after thanksgiving do not want to upset the pilgrims and thanksgiving deserves some respect. anyway today tabata runs done at 5.0% incline and 9.0 mph probably could of done a little more grade and speed but stil felt it. first wod completed in 11:10. 115 thruster were heavy first time but i was thinking to myself i've done 100 of 95lb before this doesn't feel like just 20 lb more. 2nd tabata run much more challenging. bring it home finished in 6:45 pretty weak but i was really feeling it after 3 rounds started to slow down seriously, i don't know why i am surprised anymore how much a pansy i am, seriously people who say you need positive self talk refuse to live in reality just kidding.
